Welcome to sunny Algarve! This lovely property, sleeping up to six persons, is ideally situated in Old Village, one of the most characteristic and renowned resorts in Vilamoura. The area is loved for its immaculate gardens, cobbled streets
beautiful houses and swimming pools.

The property is on the first and second floor of a typical Old Village town house. It is fully air-conditioned and equipped for an enjoyable stay, benefiting from two terraced areas plus a large roof terrace. At about 20-25 minutes walking distance, you find Vilamoura’s Marina and Falésia beach.

Property layout

The property is accessed on the first floor by an external staircase to the front door.

Upon entering the hall, you will find two twin bedrooms on your right-hand side. Going straight ahead brings you to a bathroom with wc and shower. Left goes to the master bedroom and the stairs to the 2nd floor where you will find the kitchen, living room and a terrace. From the terrace, an external staircase leads to the spacious rooftop terrace with garden and ocean view.

First Floor

On the first floor you will find two twin bedrooms, a fully equipped main bathroom, and a master bedroom.

The first of the twin bedrooms has a retractable bed, a desk with office chair, and a wardrobe. The second bedroom has two single beds and a wardrobe. Both rooms have comfortable mattresses and bed linen, AC, shutters, and full height French doors leading out to a lovely, shaded balcony.

The master bedroom has a luxurious king-size bed (180 x 210cm), Air Conditioning, a fitted wardrobe, and large windows leading to two French balconies. There is an en-suite bathroom with wc and shower.

Second Floor

On the second floor you will find the kitchen, dining & living area, and a dining terrace.

The kitchen is equipped with an induction hot plate, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dish washer, washing machine, toaster, and Nespresso coffee machine.

The living area has a LED TV with over 100 channels, including all Sky Sports and BT Sports channels. From the Marshall sound system, you can stream your own music. There is Wi-Fi connection and heating/cooling throughout the apartment.

The living room opens out to a small terrace for outside dining. From here, an exterior staircase leads to the rooftop terrace which contains a barbecue, a dining table and comfortable sun beds.

Getting around Old Village

The Old Village is a very picturesque resort of quality apartments and townhouses in Vilamoura, one of the Algarve’s most prestigious holiday destinations. It is only 25 minutes from Faro airport and a 20 minute walk (or 5 minute Uber ride) to the bustling Marina and surrounding beaches. The Old Village mixes style and elegance with the amenities of a modern holiday resort, including a supermarket, restaurants and bars, swimming pools and a children’s play area, all set in beautifully maintained gardens. There is free Wi-Fi on the complex as well as in many of the bars. The three pools have different characters. The Main pool is most child friendly, with a large shallow part. Both the Main and the Dolphin Pool have bar and food facilities. The Small Pool is very peaceful. All pools have sun loungers for hire. Here you can enjoy 300 days of sun and warm temperatures all year round. The Old Village is very suitable for families and couples looking for a relaxing holiday or golfing parties looking for a central location to enjoy the many courses in the Vilamoura area. In the Old Village, guests can find all they need in the local bars, restaurants, bakery and supermarket. By foot, the Vilamoura Marina is a pleasant walk. The tourist train comes by the resort too, and a ride with Uber is around five euros. There are ample parking spaces surrounding the Old Village with walkways to all apartments.

This apartment is a lovely spacious apartment within the Old Village. The apartment ticked every box for us for a family holiday. We will be looking to go back next year.

We have just returned from a fantastic week at Nuno’s place in The old Village, Vilamoura. It’s a great apartment and the perfect base to explore the local area. It’s clean with very comfortable sofas and beds. It had everything we needed and was worth the money. Perfect for us as my husband and I were travelling with two teenage children.

The Old Village is beautiful and Nuno’s place was great! Lovely feel, nice outdoor areas and spacious.
