Olá! It’s a pleasure – um prazer!
We are Nuno and Marjolein from Charming Homes, a Portuguese-Dutch couple. We are active persons who love outdoor activities such as hiking, biking and sailing as well as traveling and interacting with people in different languages. Inspired by the amazing spots around the world we have been lucky to visit, and the warm hospitality of different nationalities met, we are delighted to host you.
We have been offering our apartment in Lisbon for short-term holiday and remote-working stays for many years. Ensuring that our guests are happy in their temporary home is something that we thoroughly enjoy. And so do our guests, as our +250 reviews on various platforms testify.
It is therefore that in 2023, we decided to expand our activities to sunny Algarve. We’re very happy to now also offer you a lovely three-bedroom apartment in Vilamoura, a wonderful family destination. We hope to welcome you soon in either, or both, locations!

We’ve actually lost count of how many times we’ve stayed at this apartment now. We return because it’s always such an enjoyable stay in a part of town that’s close enough to all the great things the city has to offer but far enough away for some peace and quiet too.

Excellent apartment!! Excellent location!! Excellent host!! I can’t say enough good things about Nuno’s apartment. Very large space for such a central location and includes everything you could possibly need for a few days or a few weeks. Grocery shopping, restaurants and bars are all within a block or two. Very smooth booking and check-in as well as communication during our stay. One of the best Airbnb stays we’ve experienced!!

We have had a most enjoyable time at Nuno’s place, which is really thoughtfully appointed and very well situated for a stay in Lisbon. There was nothing we lacked, instructions were clear, and we ate delicious meals locally most evenings. Our 2-year-old loved all the steps! We were very sad to say goodbye to this vibrant city, and would happily stay at Nuno’s apartment again should we return.

We have just returned from a fantastic week at Nuno’s place in The old Village, Vilamoura. It’s a great apartment and the perfect base to explore the local area. It’s clean with very comfortable sofas and beds. It had everything we needed and was well worth the money. Perfect for us as my husband and I were travelling with two teenage children.

Wonderful stay, perfect setup for families, has everything you could need! Located in the beautiful cobbled streets of the Old Village with lots of swimming pools, restaurants and a quick drive to the marina. Exactly as described and would stay again.
