Welcome to Charming Loft. Your spacious and splendid home in downtown Lisbon. This 110 m2 apartment, comfortably hosting up to 5 guests, is around the corner of Avenida da Liberdade and within walking distance of all the city’s touristic highlights.
Charming Loft was renovated in an architectural project that valued and modernised the original characteristics of the 18th century building. Combined with original and eclectic decoration, you will find a unique apartment.

The master bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed. Additional pillows and blankets are provided.
The room features a built-in wardrobe and a stand-alone closet, providing more than enough space for guests to hang their clothes.
There is an air conditioning unit in the room, serving as a possible heating in winter and cooling device in summer. The door window looks out to the street. A baby crib can be set up, upon guests’ request, next to the double bed.

The Charming Loft has a large and bright living room with two sitting areas. The main sitting area features a comfortable 3-person sofa and two cinema chairs for whenever you want to watch television or have a drink together.
Next to the dining table you will find a ‘relax nook’ – a cozy corner with large pillows, where you can stretch and recline after a long day in the city. There is a retractable single bed under this lounge area to accommodate a 5th guest.
The living area has cooling and heating air conditioning, ensuring convenience in both summer and winter. There is a LED TV. From the Marshall sound system, you can stream your own music, connecting your mobile device via Bluetooth or cable.
Finally, the living room hosts a hot desk with office chair and an external monitor, to support home working. There is a fast Wi-Fi connection throughout the apartment allowing for video calls.

The Charming Loft has a fully equipped open kitchen, offering everything you need to create your own dishes if you feel like staying at home.
In terms of equipment, you will find a dishwasher and washing machine, microwave, fridge with freezer, stove and oven, Nespresso coffee maker, and a blender. Kitchen utensils, cutlery (good knives!) and cutlery are widely provided. You will also find a fire extinguisher and fire blanket, as well as cleaning material and an ironing board and iron.
From the kitchen you can access the French balcony. It is modest in size, but perfectly equipped for a coffee in the morning sun with an authentic view over the neighborhood.

Charming Loft Lisbon Avenida is located on the 4th floor of a renovated 18th century building. Guests have full and exclusive access to the apartment.
The apartment is situated in a residential area, which allows for quiet sleeping at night, yet offers lots of original shops, bars and restaurants.
There is no elevator, so people with reduced mobility may find the climb up the stairs too challenging.

Avenida da Liberdade is a lovely neighborhood where you can find traditional and luxurious restaurants, trendy and modern boutiques, as well as art galleries. The apartment is at short walking distance to grocery shops and public transport. It is close to touristy areas but tucked away enough from the hustle and bustle and noise of the busy streets.
From the apartment, it’s a short walk to the Rossio train station and Baixa. Avenida metro is just around the corner and the city’s extensive bus services also serve this main street well, so getting around is easy. Jardim do Torel, a hidden park with a splendid view and in summer boasting free swimming and a sandy beach, is a 5 minute walk. It’s a 10 min walk to Bairro Alto and Principe Real, and some 15 min to the São Jorge Castle and Praça do Comércio.

The Metro (Avenida station) is just across the street, and at a walking distance there are the Rossio train station bound to the World Heritage village of Sintra and the Cais do Sodré train station bound to the beaches.
When arriving from the airport, it is possible to use the Aerobus, Metro (red line to São Sebastião, change to blue line direction Santa Apolónia) or taxi, which costs 20 Euros.
Guests arriving by car can use a secure paid parking close to the apartment.

Hands down one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. Perfection Location in the heart of Lisbon in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Metro is a 3 minute walk, restaurants right outside your doorsteps. Had all the amenities (perfect for remote workers). Fast and reliable internet (there’s even an external monitor provided) washer, full kitchen, cutlery, Smart TV, Heater / AC Unit. Bed is comfortable (on the firmer side). Shower has great water pressure. Note the unit is on the top floor of a 4 story walk-up so that is something to consider. Overall, an amazing place to call home base in Lisbon and would definitely come back to stay again.

I have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs by now, and Nuno’s place is undoubtedly the most well-equipped and homey place I have stayed in. We were lucky enough to stay for one month and during that time there was never a moment where we felt there was an item missing that would’ve come in handy, whether that be for cooking or otherwise. The space was also so thoughtfully designed and decorated.
The location also felt ideal to us. It’s tucked into a quiet street and away from touristy areas, yet walkable to any of the neighborhoods. It’s close to a large shopping area and just beyond that the Principe Real neighborhood, which we loved. Nuno was a wonderful host and easy to get in touch with. We can’t recommend a stay at Nuno’s enough!
